Privacy Policy

Last updated August 27, 2026

This policy explains what Ellemar Calendar collects, why, and what control you have over it. Plain language, no surprises.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and optional profile details such as job title, phone number, and birthday.
  • Calendar and project content — events you create, their times, descriptions, priorities, recurrence, projects, milestones, locations, and any files you attach.
  • Team information — the people you invite, the roles and permissions you assign them, and the projects they can access.
  • Device and app preferences — appearance, text size, and notification settings.
  • Diagnostic data — anonymous crash and performance information used to fix bugs.

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to provide the service: syncing your calendar and projects across your devices, delivering the notifications you configure, showing teammates the content they have permission to see, and responding to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your calendar, project, or file content for advertising.

3. Storage and security

Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure and encrypted in transit. Access is restricted to your account and to the teammates you explicitly invite, enforced by per-record access rules. We limit internal access to what is necessary to operate and support the service.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Ellemar Calendar, including cloud hosting, push notification delivery through Apple, and Resend, which transmits email on our behalf. These providers process data only on our instructions.

When you send us a message from the support page, the details you enter are transmitted to our support inbox by email through Resend. This website does not store your message in a database.

If you connect an external calendar, that provider's own privacy policy also applies to the data exchanged with it.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual events, projects, and files at any time from within the app.

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us through the support page. We process deletion requests within 30 days, after which backups holding the data expire on their normal schedule.

Support messages sent from this website are retained only as email in our support inbox, for as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation. Ask us to delete a message thread and we will.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Send any such request through the support page and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

7. Children's privacy

Ellemar Calendar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.

9. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your data? Reach us through the support page and we will get back to you within two business days.
